Email Alert Notifications

Blimey sends email alerts when your monitors go down and when they recover.

Downtime Alerts

When a monitor goes down, you receive an email containing:

The monitor name and URL
The error that was detected
A link to view the monitor details

Recovery Alerts

When a previously-down monitor comes back up, you receive a recovery email confirming the site is operational again.

Toggling Email Notifications

You can enable or disable email notifications per monitor:

Open the monitor's detail page
Click the Settings tab
Toggle Email notifications on or off

Note: Disabling email notifications does not affect Slack or Discord webhook notifications — those are configured separately.

Your Account Email

Your account email always receives alerts by default. You can add up to 4 additional email addresses per monitor (see "Adding Multiple Alert Email Addresses").
